Poker fans are excited about the eagerly-awaited publication of the calendar for the European Poker Tour 2023. This year's calendar for the annual PokerStars event has added new stops in Paris, France, and Cyprus, with other stops slated for Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Prague. Players who fancy getting involved can either buy into EPT events directly or win themselves a seat by participating in online qualification tournaments.
What is the European Poker Tour?
The European Poker Tour was founded in 2004 by PokerStars, and today it's the richest tour on the continent. The high profile of the event, not to mention the glamorous locations that host each stop, help to attract many of the biggest and best poker players in the world. At the same time, online satellites give regular players a chance of getting involved at a fraction of the cost of a standard buy-in. Win a package and your accommodation will be covered as well as your seat in whatever stop you play for.

The tour gets underway at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, in partnership with Le Club Barrière Paris. This first leg begins on Wednesday 14 February and concludes on Sunday 26 February. If you want to buy yourself a seat directly into this event, it will set you back €5,300.

EPT Prague 2023 (06 to 17 December)
The fifth and final stop on the EPT 2023 schedule is Prague. The dates to mark on your calendar for this leg are Wednesday 6 December to Sunday 17 December, and all the poker action will take place at the King's Casino.
How to Get Involved in the EPT 2023
Getting involved in the 2023 European Poker Tour is just as straightforward as getting involved in any other live poker tournament. All you have to do is buy yourself a seat, make arrangements for your accommodation and make sure you're in the right place at the right time.
Of course, tournament seats aren't cheap, so unless you have four figures to drop you might prefer to try and win your way to the leg of your choice. To do that, all you need is to make sure that you have an account with the PokerStars online poker site. You can then participate in satellites and qualifiers that could, if you're lucky, lead to you winning both a tournament seat and accommodation for the duration.
